We were kindly invited by the Portknockie Community Association to the rededication of the Portknockie Fisherman’s Memorial on the 27th of July. This date marked 20 years since the memorial was first dedicated. 3 skiff boats represented FWSC on the day – Morag, Morven and Uisge, alongside sailing boat Solan. A service was held and artwork was displayed, produced by children at Portknockie School. RNLI Buckie lifeboat was in attendance, as was the Buckie Ice Cream Cabin – perfect for refuelling before rowing back to Findochty! Photos below.
